Suggestions for Purchase
Suggest a New Title
Members of the library are welcome to make suggestions for purchase of library material. We strive to be responsive to patron's suggestions, as long as the suggestions fall within the guidelines of the library's Collection Development Policy.
Check the Library Catalogue first to ensure the Library doesn't already hold the title. Then fill in a Suggestion for purchase form and submit it for consideration.
To obtain the form: Print one here or fill in the online suggestion form on the Library catalogue. NB: Online suggestion form is available from the My details section of the Online catalogue.
Should your request be unsuccessful you will be notified by phone, email or a memo will be added to your library record for you to view online.
Most accepted requests are ordered within days, however, they may take several weeks to be fulfilled by the supplier - so a degree of patience is required. Once ordered, the requested title will appear on the library's catalogue.
Your request will be automatically reserved for you, and the library will notify you when the item is ready to collect.
